Merci à nos meilleurs amis!

Festivals Acadiens et Créoles is the premier celebration of our Cajun and Créole heritage in South Louisiana, developed from our love of tradition, food, and music. Without support from our community and dedicated sponsors, this convention of love and culture would never have come to fruition in 1974 – and every year since! We would like to recognize all our corporate sponsors and community leaders who have helped us carry on the tradition while evolving into the cultural celebration we recognize today.

We offer a unique opportunity for both corporate and local businesses to connect with festival goers, supporters, and social media followers. If you or your business is interested in becoming a sponsor, contact us to secure your spot today! Sponsorships are limited and are issued on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Allons au festivals!

Clifton Chenier, the Grammy-winning “King of Zydeco” music, was born June 25, 1925, near Opelousas, Louisiana. The year 2025 will mark the 100th anniversary of Clifton Chenier’s birth. The Zydeco Historical & Preservation Society is spearheading a fundraising effort to honor and recognize the centennial birth of Clifton Chenier by commissioning the design, construction and placement of a bronze statue for the late “King of Zydeco” music. The centennial commemorative statue of Clifton Chenier will become a critical historic part of The National Creole & Zydeco Heritage Trail Project. You can make a difference by donating today!
